Overcoming Danger while being Crazy

I have survived allot in my 53 years. I have had someone put a gun to my head once, aim a gun at me once and had a family member threaten me with a gun. I still don’t blame the gun, it is a tool. I blame the person who chose to use a freedom irresponsibly.

I used to be a team truck driver with hubs driving 18 wheelers and 30 wheelers around the lower 48 states. I have driven through strong winds, been in hurricane areas and drove through tornado warning areas. During the tornado warning the phones were screaming with take cover alerts and we chose to drive anyway since we were heavy. We had Alexa installed and I said to Alexa to play AC/DC. First song was Highway to Hell, Second was For those about to Rock. Both songs we laughed so hard at. The last song was Thunderstruck. Every time the song said Thunderstruck we looked to see if the Lightning around us matched the song. Was fun, full of adrenaline and huge laughter that playing it safe would’ve been a regret. I’m not saying take risks, we take calculated risks and even with that shit happens.

We have had difficulties with meth heads coming around the homestead, Trying to intimidate, twice trying to jump me leading me to pull my gun, plus I have been verbally threatened. (I talked about this in an earlier post).  I have been around danger my whole life from security with high value loads as well as combustible HAZMAT, even facing a tornado. Why would I fear a Meth Head? The gates and home locks are there and  no trespassing signs are posted. Washington State is a Stand Your Ground and Castle State. I have been trained in self defense, firearms and gun safety. I have had Hunters Education training. I have been federally background checked by TSA for security and HAZMAT clearances, fingerprinted so my prints are on file, dental records and I have DNA on file incase needed. Talk about transparency… gosh I hope to haunt people if I die. Get it… transparent.

I talked about fear in a TikTok. Fear is an option and can get in the way of calculation and creativity. I am not a know it all. I just had to learn the hard way and keep going.
