We were over the road team truck drivers for a couple years. Intimacy was difficult traveling due to time restraints, delayed showers and keeping the truck sleeper clean. We added vibrators in our sleeper. I found out later a state we went in Sex Toys are illegal. We also added wipes and condoms. Condoms helped contain the mess and was easier clean up. When we could we rented a hotel room to enjoy some intimate time together. When we were able to stop for a shower in a truck stop we enjoyed a few minutes of intimacy. (Showers were limited to 10 minutes. The stopwatch added to the excitement.)

Lots of flirting in between is a must. Instead of being frustrated we tried to look for humor in the situation or just some gratitude. Traveling isn’t easy and mood plays a huge part in intimacy. Finding the silver lining when ever possible made really difficult times more manageable. Nothing is ever perfect and sometimes that is where beauty is found. Be intentional in keeping the intimacy going and move with the vibe.
