We are not the hugest television watchers, but when we do watch it we enjoy it. Yesterday we were watching a documentary on Crows. We feed crows on the homestead and the crows help protect our flocks from raptors. Our cats saw the crows on screen and decided to watch the documentary with us. In the documentary Crows: Nature is Watching Us some of the scientists spoke Japanese, so I asked our son to come in and translate since he took Japanese in College. Since he hasn’t used it in a while he was only able to understand parts. We decided to sign up for Netflix to get Anime with Japanese so he could refresh his memory. He still has his old textbooks books and notes to refresh reading Japanese skills and we will look for Manga to help.

We get free Paramount+ (we paid for discounted upgrade) throughout Walmart+ subscription and having AARP we get Walmart+ and Showtime at a reduced rate. We also enjoy Pluto, TUBI, RokuTv and more free streaming services. With a library card you can stream movies and news can be found on local apps and RokuTV.

Documentaries are our favorite thing to watch on topics of mythology, sex, war, and cannabis. When we aren’t streaming television we listen to Spotify or read a book. Just watching the birds and cats is entertaining. What is vain to one is value to another.

When we were over the road truckers we would have our business pay for a television in the semi sleeper, WiFi and streaming services so we could enjoy entertainment and relax living in the semi truck. It was all a tax deduction paid by our business. That is an option to talk to a CPA about. Lots of opportunities for entertainment and I am grateful for all of it.
