Anton Levay’s Satanism Book Review

I am a Levayan Satanist while not affiliated with or a member of The Church Of Satan. I am a huge fan of Anton LeVay and feel The Church of Satan has allot of amazing people I have been fortunate to talk to on line and purchase books and items from. I wanted to say all that before beginning this post to clearly state who I am and respecting their boundaries while discussing Anton’s books I have read and thoroughly enjoyed.

For someone who is intimidated by Satanism due to religious dogma, there is spiritual abuse in religious groups, I would suggest Satan Speaks! And The Devils Notebook as beginner reading for readers curious but want to only get their feet wet in understanding Satanism. Those 2 books in my opinion help build an understanding in Anton’s perspective, his sarcasm, humor, wit, intelligence and charm. Anton states himself Satanism is Atheist and you are your own God. Satanism isn’t for everyone, many need herds and it is the churches job to take care of them. Satanism is individualism, selfish and requires strength. No cheaters and weak demons allowed, so you cannot sell your soul.

In my experience I can let someone else do my thinking or grab a set of balls and do my own thinking. (Gosh that sounds funny to me now that I think about that) As Anton Said, Evil spelled backwards is live. Brings to mind the backwards playing vinyl record of censorship past. Anton encouraged a sense of humor. Gosh, Anton was such a broad thinker. I highly recommend these books for anyone curious about Levayan Satanism. My books are full of highlights so I can go back to his points later. These books were so good and I personally love them.
