How I met Andy

Andy is my husband, best friend and co-performer. We met through an online ad on a website called, Excite. I really wasn’t looking for love, I was going on a gut feeling. Before meeting him I was completely alright with being alone for the rest of my life. I literally was sick of people and could care less if I had anyone in my life or not. I made up my mind to live life on my terms, tell allot of people to fuck off and enjoy life as much as possible.

One night I had a gut feeling and I decided to go with it. I put a long list of what I wanted in a partner. I got responses. One kept telling me how I would want him because he was rich. That was all he wanted to tell me over and over was how rich he was. I already had family that was rich I told to fuck off. I saw what riches did to poor and rich people and I wasn’t impressed.

The second response I did meet on a date and ghosted afterwards. He lied on his age and asked if I was alright with him lying to me. I said yes I was alright with that. The lie was probably the only truth I would ever get if he had the balls to lie that quick. Why waste anymore time on a liar if I wasn’t worthy of the truth from the start.

The third response was Andy. He wasn’t sure if he could be everything on my list but wanted to try. We met in person at a coffee shop and I wouldn’t let him buy my child anything at coffee. He could only buy me coffee. That bothered him. I got tired of my child being used to get closer to me and I wanted to see if my child would be considered. I was a package deal. (My child came from me being widowed.)

We started off as friends. No kissing or sex, just hanging out as friends. Eventually he proposed after asking his mom if it was too soon and she said would you marry her already?! We married in a small church. Andy walked me down the aisle. I didn’t have a dad due to parental rights emancipated and my mom I refused to allow to attend due to her refusing her schizophrenia medication and I didn’t want her to have an episode. My maid of honor was a no call no show. We were told on our wedding day it would end in divorce within 10 years by a family member who later divorced.
We have been married 26 years. Our vows are beyond death instead of till death we part. I didn’t say in the vows I would obey him and he said he didn’t mind. With trust and love obey is fun in the bedroom while not a need in real life.
