Washington State Income Tax – Tax Religion

I wrote this on my Social Media:
People are complaining about Washington States Millionaires Tax. It seems unconstitutional but I found it interesting Faith Based Organizations have a problem with it considering their book says Give Caesar what is Caesars. I’m sitting here looking at it as, is there any ways to play with the tax code? I do believe if we taxed the religious organizations allot of problems would settle themselves personally. IDK I hope more details come out to see if there is any way this idea could be more beneficial then what I am seeing or not. Still listening.
Here are my further thoughts:
I listened to part of Robert Kiyosaki book “Rich Dad Poor Dad” where he quotes Trump about studying the Tax Code. I have worked in Taxes as a Tax associate and it does fascinate me. I am curious and creative. I am having a difficult time understanding the full idea of Washington’s Governor on this Income Tax. When I watch and listen to the governor and his ideas seem like a pendulum. I quietly watch and listen respectfully not in a manner of kissing anyone’s ass, more over having worked allot of careers I can see at times 2 side not one with blinders. The Governor talks about his love for chess so I see a broad vision. I am trying to figure out the full picture.
I could go into what my opinions of religious organizations are… I really don’t want to. I am tired of the subject and have no interest in any of them. I do think adding a tax to religion would perhaps sift some issues to surface. Perhaps what is hidden will come to light. Idk.
Is it my business if Churches should be taxed? If I have to pay a tax on what they say is their job, is it? If they put restrictions on my life and make my life difficult…. is it? If they honestly feel they have all the answers, wouldn’t they know how to make things work out despite a tax on them? I mean we are the stupid livestock going to hell and this is our world they say. Give to Caesar what is Caesars? If we don’t conform to their beliefs, they will destroy our property, liberty and safety because their religion says so, yet they have all the tax write offs… Idk
This is stuff I think to myself. But I am just a whore and no one cares what my opinion is. Like I said, I am not kissing the Governor’s ass… I’m curious about his ‘why”.
