Our homestead is 18+ Only. Seems probably kinda weird perhaps. Perhaps even creepy with the signs posted. We did talk to a neighbor and of course they say property rights, but do they really mean it?
I am not a maternal type of person other than my own children. I honestly do not like other peoples children and feel it is unfair to a child to be around where they are not wanted.
The livestock can be aggressive and I don’t feel it is good for children to be around animals who are spirited, especially city types of people.
On the homestead we are only adults without children, the homestead is not child friendly and we like to party (alcohol, canna, loud music, ect). Plus since we do porn, I don’t want the grooming allegations with a religious nut hell bent on drama. Really don’t want any drama to be honest.
In the past since I was home, people would look at me like a free babysitter and I not longer wanted the unneeded responsibility or obligation.
I cannot find a good reason anyone under 18 needs to be on the homestead and am skeptical of anyone who believes children should be allowed or entitled.
Seems like people will sacrifice networking and relationships for selfish gain never having enough. We would really like to attract authentic people who we vibe with.
Honesty, we will probably be loners for the rest of our life. When you have had family who will hurt you, is it even worth it to expect much out of anyone?
