I’ve decided to go off social media for my birthday month. We decided to make our birthdays more of a priority and start a new habit. To shed unnecessary trauma and negativity anchors we decided to broaden the birthday to a month. This way negativity doesn’t get in the way of positivity on our actual birthday.
I hear allot of noise on social media towards women. Even women are elevating themselves while cutting down other women. (Good honesty is brought to light after so much false truths. Not complaining.) I’m old and don’t need the attention. I’ve heard some women who dress “modest” say women like me deserve no respect. These women also show a defense for women being enslaved by a male. I hear it and remain quiet. These types are trapping themselves. If harmed or in need should they expect help from the foolish or disrespectful they claim are? I feel silence is best on my part. It is not my place to correct or debate. I prefer distance. People have their people they can go to. There is no need for my input. (Topic fits with self care & lifestyle of our focus due to gender & culture war influence on lifestyle and self care)
So with that I thought going off social media I can focus more in real life and silence what is not the best use of my time. I will blog again in August. My old Instagram is open for the month of July if you’re interested. It is posted at http://x.com/glitteredweb
